This tutorial will show you how to brand your feedoor feed with your own domain
The results: instead of using feedoor subdomain to serve your feed "http://myrss.feedoor.com"
You can use one of the following links
http://myrss.your-domain.com
OR
http://your-domain.com/feed.php
Why?
- Because you like to show off your doamin instead of Feedoor's
- You feel safer by serving feeds from your own domain.
What ever your reason is, feedoor provide you 2 different ways to brand your feed even if you don't have permission over your doamin DNS to edit CNAME records.
Let's start branding your feed, it's super easy.
Method 1: Brand With DNS CNAME
For this method you neeed to have some control over your domain to add a CNAME record, don't worry though most Domain registrar offer this feature as default.
Lets say that you want to brand your feedoor feed http://myrss.feedoor.com to http://feed.yourdomain.com
Step one: Add a new CNAME record
Login your domain registrar control panel "Godaddy" for example and add the following CNAME record

Step Two: Specify your new feed location in your feedoor control panel
Login your feedoor account, go to the feed your branded and click on the publish icon

From Publish tools Click on "Brand Your Feed"

Now Enter the new location of your feed.

Method 2: Brand With PHP Script
If you can't add CNAME record then you still can use this method, just download this small php script, open it and edit as instructed then upload to your server
After uploading the script to your server go to your feedoor account as step 2 above and specify the new location of your feed
